The ins and outs of choosing tennis shoes

When you are looking for tennis shoes, there are many things to consider. Depending on what level you are and how frequently you play this tennis game, you will choose your shoe. The brands that I recommend because they always put much effort into their development and they have a proven track record, are Nike, Adidas, Babolat, Wilson, Reebok, Lotto and Fila. These can all be found at Tennis Warehouse.

I really like Nike and Adidas, because they have the most extensive range of shoes. As I said, it all depends on your level and frequency. For instance, if you are a top level (USTA 5.0+) player, you will be looking for the Adidas Barricade or A3 series, or the Nike Air Max Breathe, Breathe Cage or Air Vapor series. While the prices of these shoes might seem a little high, remember that many of them come with a 6-month outsole warranty, so if you wear them out within six months, you just send them in and get a new pai. If you don't want to pay quite that much for a new pair of shoes, however, I would recommend looking towards Fila, Wilson and Lotto. Adidas and Nike also have an extensive list of cheaper options.

Performance-wise, there is not much difference between the quality of Adidas shoes and Nike shoes. The Adidas Barricade series, in general, provides durable, comfortable but slightly heavier options. The A3 series provides the lighter shoe that might not last as long. On the Nike side, I would say all the shoes are comfortably light, and the Air Vapor series might not last as long as the Breathe series.
